Vicent Gomez

Vicente Gomez (a.k.a. Vincent - to simplify it), is a young chef that moved to Oslo a couple of years ago and helped opening and operating Restaurant Cargo´s kitchen at Sørenga that opened in July 2015. He is now working on a new project and focusing on evolving further in his career.

Vincent has been working as a professional chef for 8 years now, with experiences from typical Catalan cuisine to French and Italian gastronomy, and bringing classic dishes with a more modern twist.

He has a wide experience in the fine dining world, having worked in restaurants such as
Het Tuinhuis in Amsterdam, El Racó d´en Cesc in Barcelona, Blanc at Mandarin Hotel in Barcelona and Mesa in Zurich. All of them in the Michelin guide.

With the pop-up kitchen at Nedre Løkka, he is seeking to offer the true taste of Catalan cuisine and let you explore a kitchen full of delicious flavors and delicate textures.
